The European Day of Languages
In Bulgaria
The European Day of Languages was celebrated on 26th September in 6th B grade of Vazrazhdane Secondary School – Ruse. In their English class the students learnt when and how the idea came from. The aims of the European Day of Languages are to celebrate the diversity of languages and cultures within Europe and promote intercultural understanding. Joana, Michaela, Diana, Michael Dragnev and Helga made and presented posters to their classmates.

European Day of languages is celebrated every year as part of e- Twinning events.

During the celebration of The European Day of Languages older students presented our partner countries - Northern Macedonia, Bulgaria and Turkey. Classes prepared stands with posters and curiosities, multimedia presentations, and dishes typical of a given country. Students and teachers dressed in their countries national colors.
