THE LETTERS' HOLIDAY
On April 22, 2021, students from 1st b grade at Vazrazhdane Secondary school had their unique and memorable first school holiday - the Feast of the Letters. The first graders said goodbye to their favourite first textbook "Bukvar" on the eve of World Book Day /April 23rd/ and demonstrated to their parents that they know the Bulgarian alphabet and they can read, although a little late due to the situation. They learned a lot of poems and songs at school, they recited, sang, dramatized fairy tales while having a great time and fun. A holiday that was realized thanks to the work, dedication and enthusiasm of their teachers - the class teacher Rumyana Petrova and the teacher of the group of full-time training Nelly Grozdeva.
Despite the strict safety measures imposed by COVID19, the concert, which is part of the activities of the international project "MIND your health" of the program "Erasmus +", captivated everyone in attendance. The European project is about children's mental health, which is a topic that is extremely relevant in this day and age. Children need to play, have fun, dance and sing in addition to studying at school.

"SPRING IS BEAUTIFUL!"
"SPRING IS BEAUTIFUL!" - under this title, like slogan, the graders from the second “A” grade at "Vazrazhdane" Secondary School - Ruse recited poems, sang songs, danced and dramatized stories and fairy tales. At the celebration - event on 27.04.2021 entitled "It's spring again“ was attended by their parents, in strict compliance with anti-epidemic measures. The concert, prepared according to the author's script of the class teacher Lozana Uzunova and the helping teacher Bistra Nenkova, was dedicated to the 40th anniversary of the founding of the school.
With "Fatherland" by the famous Bulgarian poet Ivan Vazov and "I Love You, My Dear Fatherland" by Luben Karavelov began the official solemn part. Spring comes to life in the poems of the Bulgarian poetesses Dora Gabe and Elisaveta Bagryana, according in the sets for the scenes and in the paintings on the walls. The poems from Asen Raztsvetnikov and Valery Petrov, was recited by the children, as well as they sang the songs to the music of Morris Aladjem and Dimitar Spasov. The students entered the roles of actors and played - dramatizations of the Bulgarian folk tales "Sly Peter", "Sparrow and Fox" and the English folk tale "The Magic Tree". They really had fun with the dance "Dance Monkey" and the song in English "If You Are Happy".

Relaxation technique - city walk
On October 6, 2021, the class teacher Lozana Uzunova and the teacher all-day organization of learning activities Bistra Nenkova took the third A class students in the Park of the Revivalists, in the Pantheon of the Revivalists, in the center of the city of Ruse - to see the Monument of Freedom, the Courthouse, the Building of the Theatre. The city walk was for educational purposes and is a practical lesson for applying relaxation techniques for children. After a busy school day, the children took a walk in the city park and admired the colors of autumn, watched a multimedia presentation about our national revivalists, laid flowers at the Levski monument in the National Revival Park, walked in the central part of the city and got acquainted with the history of the creation of the emblematic for Ruse Monument of Freedom.
In order to be healthy both physically and mentally, students need time not only for learning, but also for rest, for educational walks, for informal communication outside of school. Such activities are part of the international project "MIND your health" of the Erasmus + program, on which the school has been working for three years together with schools from Poland, Turkey and Northern Macedonia.
